Protection and Continuity of "Maoshan Folk Songs from Bashan Mountains" as Non-material Cultural Heritage

巴山茅山歌是流传在陕南、川东北一带的爱情山歌,其历史悠久,文化底蕴深厚,音乐婉转抒情,情感细腻。随着现代社会经济的快速发展,多元文化碰撞交融,巴山茅山歌这类原生态民歌的生存受到极大影响。巴山茅山歌,被四川省、陕西省列为省级非物质文化遗产名录,并开展了系列保护、传承活动。

“Maoshan Folk Songs from Bashan Mountains”is a kind of love songs, which are popularized in the south of Shaanxi and the north- east of Sichuan. The songs has a long history and heavy cultural deposition, which is melodious and has a subtle and refined sensibility. The protogenous or natural songs like “Maoshan Folk Songs” are hard to survive because of the fast development of economy and the impacts of different cultures. “Maoshan Folk Songs” has been recorded in the provincial non- material cultural heritage by Sichuan and Shaanxi and a series of protection and continuity activities have been implemented.
