民俗学学科属性的不确定造成了对民俗文化的属性认知时常出现偏差,因此,有必要对民俗文化的属性进行再认知。民俗与民众的生活须臾不可分离,这就决定了民俗文化是与生俱来的日常生活文化,它与人生相伴,与人类相随,把生物的人操练、养育为文化的人;民俗文化又是根脉文化,它是精英文化的母体,为典籍文化、精英文化奠定了基础,传承了人类之初的文明,与政治、法律、宗教等存在密切的联系。这两种属性决定了民俗文化不仅反映着民众的生活智慧,还传承着民族文化的基因,具有天人合一的文化境界,体现了执着于现实的生生不息的文化性格,显示了包容互生的和谐精神。

The uncertainty of folklore attributes caused cognitive attributes of folk culture often appearing deviation, therefore, it is necessary to re-recognize the attributes of folk culture. The folk custom and people＇s lives can not be separated, which determines that the folk culture is born with the life culture,andit is accompanied with life and human beings, going to practice,and raise people to be the cultural people; folk culture is the root culture, it is the parent of elite culture, lays the foundation for ancient culture and elite culture, inherited the human civilization at the beginning, and it has a close relationship with the politics, laws, religions etc.. These two properties determine that the folk culture not only reflects people＇s wisdom, but also inherits the gene of national culture, it has a cultural realm, which reflects the reality of integration between human and nature, and shows the spirit of harmony containing everything.
