摘要
对一种基于FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)的高速光纤传输系统物理层进行了研究。该系统使用Altera公司的Arria II GX系列芯片,通过对FPGA高速数据收发器模块及相关控制逻辑的例化和设计,实现了低速并行数据的高速串行化,并使用小型SFP(Small Form Factor Pluggable)光模块对串行数据进行光电转换,通过光纤进行传输通信。实际测试验证了设计的正确性,可实现与更高层协议的灵活对接,有较高的实用价值。
This paper presents the physical layer of high-speed optical fibre transmission system based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array ). Using Ahera' s Arria II GX series of FPGA, the system realized high-speed transceivers and their associated control logic to serialize raw low-speed parallel data, and then sent the processed data to interface interconnected with the SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) optical modules to take photoelectrieal conversion. Ultimately, the optical signal been transmitted to receiver through optical fiber. The correctness of the design is proved by the test, it can be docked with higher-level protocols flexibly and thus had high practical value.
