Cultivation of English Intercultural Communication Ability in New Media Environment

近年来,随着新媒体的快速发展,传播方式也呈现出多样化的特点。针对目前高校中许多非英语专业的学生虽然已经进行了很长时间的英语学习但英语跨文化交际能力仍明显较低的现状,探讨在新媒体传播环境下,大学英语教学如何做到既要注重英语语言知识的传授,也要强调学生英语跨文化交际能力的培养,着重阐述新媒体环境下大学英语教学方式的变革。

In recent years, with the rapid development of the new media, the characteristics of the communication methods becomes diversified. The English intercultural communication ability of many college students of non - English major is quite ineligible though they have studied English for many years. This paper discusses how to balance the English knowledge education and the cultivation of English intercultural communication ability in the college English teaching in the new media environment.
