Research on Input Intensity of Scientific and Technological Activities in Suzhou High-tech Enterprises

企业是创新的主体,而高新技术企业是综合反映企业创新能力的重要载体,其持续稳定的科技活动投入是保障企业转型升级、赢得竞争优势的重要手段。文章通过利用苏州2014年度火炬统计年报数据,挖掘在各行业、各领域、各地区高新技术企业的科技活动开展状况,并运用定量分析研究政府扶持资金在推动企业创新中发挥的作用。

Enterprises are the body of innovation, especially for high-tech enterprises. Innovation of high-tech enterprises is a comprehensive reflection of enterprises innovation capabilities. Therefore, their steady investment in scientific and technological activities is an important means to gain competitiveadvantage and ensure business transforming and upgrading. By analyzing data gathered from 2014 Torch Annual Research, this article looks into scientific and technological activities taken by enterprises in various regions, industries and technological fields. Through quantitative analysis, the article points out what role government support founds is playing in boosting enterprise innovation.
