肺炎链球菌疫苗研究的新进展 被引量:4

摘要 肺炎链球菌(Streptococcus pneumonia,SP)是严重威胁人类健康的常见致病菌,该菌不仅是临床多发病中耳炎和鼻窦炎的主要病原,更常引起社区获得性肺炎、败血症、化脓性脑膜炎等重症侵袭性肺炎链球菌疾病(invasive pneumococcal disease,IPD),是患者致残致死的重要病原。全世界每年感染SP的重症患者超过1450万,主要分布在非洲和亚洲,发病率最高的地区达(5000~8000)/10万。儿童是SP感染的高危人群,全球每年有大量儿童感染SP,其中死于SP感染的5岁以下儿童达70万-100万,因此,预防儿童SP感染是一项全球性的重要任务。
