A Brief Discussion on Mosuo's Marriage History

美丽的泸沽湖畔,庄严的格姆女神山下,勤劳的摩梭人,按照他们自己的习俗生活着。多少年来一直保留着母系氏族,实行"男不娶、女不嫁"的走婚(阿注婚)习俗。婚姻男女双方虽然是阿肖(情侣)关系,但是白天两人从不居住在一起,彼此在两人的家庭里面不充当任何家庭成员角色。随着时代的发展,从传统的阿注婚到现代婚姻制度,摩梭人的婚姻形式正悄悄的发生着变化。

Around the beautiful Lugu Lake and the Gamla Mountains, the hard -working Mosuo people are living happily in accordance with their own customs. This ethnic group has retained the matriarchal clan for many years, the Azhu marriage custom in particular. But with the society develop- ment, the marriage system of Mosuo is experiencing the changes from the traditional Azhu marriage to the modem marriage.
