It is shown that the complete policy and planning, favorable service environment and literature resource, professional librarians and various activities guarantee the high-quality children service of Taiwan public libraries. The public libraries in mainland of China would learn the successful experience, and develop the children first service in the following aspects： studying children＇s rights, promoting children-first principle, improving the reading enviornment, paying attention to professional train of librarians, enrich- ing reading activities and innovating the service forms.
