"云萍录"是一种具有名录性质的书簿。友人的姓氏、籍贯、年甲、经历及三代是其中最为主要的内容。据传世文献可知,它主要流传于12至14世纪中国南方士人之间。作为一种社交资源,"云萍录"凝结了当时士人,尤其是游士构建社交网络、获取社会关系资源的良苦用心。理学家则将之运用于建构朋友之伦的实践中:他们首先赋予"云萍录"在伦理上的深刻含义,又通过对"云萍"这一称名的探讨,试图为其注入交友之道等更为丰富的内涵,同时还将其作为品评人物德业进退与自我砥砺的重要依凭。

Yunping Luis one special kind of directory whose main contents included friends＇ names,native places,ages,experiences and information about their ancestors.According to the documents that had been handed down from ancient age,Yunping Lu was popular among scholars who lived in southern China from the 12 th to the 14 th century.As one kind of resources of social intercourse,Yunping Lu embodied scholars＇ will about constructing social networks and gaining social relations at that times.In New Confucian Philosophers＇ eyes,Yunping Lu was an important tool that could be used in the construction of ethic about friendship.Frist of all,they considered that this directory played an key role in ethic.Secondly,they tried to inject new ethical connotation to this book through weighing the name of＂Yunping＂.Finally,they also used Yunping Lu as an evidence to character evaluation and self evaluation.
