面向国际合作的大学结构功能的优化路径研究——基于北京大学的案例

On the Optimal Path of High Institution's Structural Function Oriented to International Cooperation

优化现代大学内部结构和组织机制,充分发挥国际交流合作功能,对于实现国际一流大学建设目标具有诸多重要意义。本文以北京大学为例,基于结构功能主义理论视角,利用该校2006~2011年国际交流的数据,分析该校国际合作领域的组织结构、内部机制与实现现代大学国际化合作目标之间的作用关系。研究发现,大学场域已经开始超出单纯的学术范畴,呈现出更为复杂的、学术与世俗相结合、基础研究与应用科学互相补充的内容和结构;外事组织结构和协同机制,对于提高我国大学与全球化大环境之间的适应度具有重要作用。本研究提出了当前形势下优化我国大学国际化交流合作功能的建议,旨在为实现国际一流大学建设规划提供国际合作优化路径方面的借鉴。

Perfecting inner structure and organization mechanism of modern universities can strengthen international cooperation ability of these universities and also add great significance to them to build first-rate universities in the world. Taking Peking University as an example, this paper makes use of its international communication data from 2006--2011 to analyze the relationship between mechanism and internationalization of a university from the perspective of structure functionalism. The administration on foreign affairs is now playing important roles in helping the education and research of the universities to adapt to the globalization of higher education by coordinating the functions of other departments and offices inside the institution. Furthermore, the modern ＂University Field＂ has gone beyond the pure academic scope and become a more complicated system by combining the academic and secular society and making the supplement between fundamental research and applied sciences. It provides some suggestions on how to optimize the international communication function of Chinese universities to build first-class universities.
