From the situation of offer and purchases of clinical trial insurance, the relevant policies and regulations of government, the supervision of regulators, and the awareness degree of researchers and subjects on the insurance, the paper analyzed the implementation status and shortage of drug clinical trial insurance in our country to provide some suggestions for the development of drug clinical trial insurance in China.
