周永年“儒藏说”提出时间考兼论其对《四库全书》纂修之影响

周永年"儒藏说"被很多学人认为是编纂四库全书的社会舆论准备,此观点自民国郭伯恭而光大,然而却无人做深入探讨。爬梳文献,不难发现有关"儒藏说"提出的时间线索以及周永年宣传"儒藏说"的记载,基于这些材料的分析观察,"儒藏说"对四库的编纂起倡导作用的结论值得商榷,反倒可能是四库的开馆中断了"儒藏说"的进一步宣传。从时人的反应来看,"儒藏说"的社会影响被今日学界夸大了。

Many people think that theory of Confucian Collection as the public opinion provision for compiling Siku Quanshu. This opinion was put forward by Guo Bogong in the Republic of China, but with no more in-depth study. It is not difficult to find the time clue when Zhou Yongnian proposed the theory and the details of his propaganda the theory based on the analysis of literature materials. The theory of Confucian Book Collection promoted the compilation of Si Ku Quan Shu is not only questionable, on the contrary, the opening of Si Ku Quan Shu may interrupt the further promotion of theory of Confucian Book Collection. The social impact of the theory of Confucian Book Collection is not as great as that was reputed by academic community.
