神经调控技术在儿童难治性癫痫中的应用 被引量:10

Neuromodulation in the treatment of childhood refractory epilepsy

摘要 儿童难治性癫痫的外科治疗有着较好的临床疗效。但对于无法进行切除性手术的患儿来说,神经调控技术是可以考虑的治疗方法之一。随着神经调控技术的不断发展与成熟,国际上逐渐出现了迷走神经刺激、大脑深部刺激及反应性神经刺激等方法。通过大量的临床研究,这些方法对难治性癫痫患者的安全性及有效性已得到证实和认可。同时这些技术对儿童难治性癫痫也有良好的疗效。合理选择和运用神经调控技术可提高儿童难治性癫痫临床疗效及生活质量。 Epileptic surgery for children with refractory epi- lepsy can result in good clinical outcome. For those not suitable for surgery, the neuromodulation as one of treatment meth- ods can be considered. With the development of neuromodulation, vagus nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation and the responsive neurostimulator system now are available for clinic. The safety and effectiveness of those methods for refractory epilepsy have been confirmed by clinical research. At the same time, those technologies for children with intractable epilepsy also have a good effect. Rational selection and use of neuromodulation can improve clinical outcomes and quality of life in children with refractory epilepsy.
