It was proposed in＂Olympic Agenda 2020＂that＂the International Olympic Committee（IOC）encourage the setting of the mixed team event＂,which reflects the latest trends and trends in the possible change of future Olympic development and event settings.The present thesis has analyzed the current development of international mixed team events,as well as the meaning,characteristics,types and potential developed events resulting from mixed team events.It is concluded that mixed team events may enter the Olympic Games in the future,which may exert more positive than negative effects on the implementation and development of China＇s Olympic strategy.It is thus suggested that the Chinese sport administration should attach great importance to timely planning and preparation for the possible change.
