This article expounds the ways to improve the accuracy of the load forecast of the power grid in Chongqing during the national statutory holidays in the aspects of the criteria for the judgment of the accuracy of the load forecast,the factors affecting the accuracy of the daily load forecast of the power grid during the holidays and the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the load forecast.Relevant practice has verified the maneuverability and practicability of the analyses in improving the accuracy of the load forecast during the national statutory holidays.
