Unlike the description and assertion of the novelists and some scholars, historically Sima Yi was a politician and strategist as outstanding as Cao Cao and Zhuge Liang in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. Comments in the historical records such as＂ As a politician he can rule the country, and as a strategist he can frighten the world＂ fairly justified him.
