醉耕堂本是《水浒传》在清代出现的第一本有图赞的版本,此本引用了明代陈老莲所作的《水浒叶子》人物绣像、图赞,开《水浒传》小说绣像本的先河。重刻醉耕堂本是醉耕堂本的翻刻本,它重现了醉耕堂本的原貌。此本中夸张、幽默的绣像、独到又富于个性的图赞,得到了后世的广泛认可,堪称清代《水浒传》图赞本中的典范。
