稀土上转换发光在染料敏化太阳能电池中的应用

摘要 经过20余年的发展,染料敏化太阳能电池(DSSC)的光电转换效率已经超过13%,但仍然无法与传统的晶硅太阳能电池相媲美。稀土上转换发光材料可以将近红外光转换为可见光,提高染料吸收光子的数量。从该角度出发,总结介绍了在DSSC中应用稀土离子上转换发光材料的两种常见模式,指出了有待解决的关键科学问题,展望了未来的发展方向。 Dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC) is one of the most promising ways of converting the solar power into electricity. After two decades of rapid development, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of DSSC has beyond 13%, but it is still not comparable with the conventional crystalline silicon solar cells. Rare earth up-conversion luminescent materials can convert near-infrared light into visible light and increase the number of photons absorbed by the dye. This paper reviews the two common usage patterns of the rare earth luminescent materials used in the DSSC. Then it points out some key scientific issues that need to be resolved at present and prospects the future direction.
