The paper introduces the principle and features of the geological radar prospecting technique,combining with the engineering example,illustrates its application in the tunnel advanced forecasting from the selection of prospecting profile,allocation of radar parameter,collection of measurement data,and image analysis,and points out the radar can obtain the accurate information of the front part of the tunnel face,so as to provide some guarantee for the tunnel safety construction.
