多尔的"4R"理论是指丰富性、回归性、关联性、严密性。"4R"理论引导下的中学英语教学是后现代思维下的教学形态。它提倡教学的创新性、非中心性、民主性和多元性,关注生成性教学目标、发展性教学观念、互动性教学过程和科学性教学评价,对中学英语教学目标、教师教学智慧、教学模式、教学评价改革发挥着指导作用。
Doll's theory of "4R" refers to richness, recursive, relational, rigorous. The middle school English teaching based on the "4R" theory is a special teaching instruction form that viewed from the post-modem thinking mode. It advocates the characteristics of innovation, decentralization, democracy and diversity by focusing on emergent teaching aims, developmental teaching idea, mutual teaching process and scientitle teaching evaluation. "4R"theory plays an instructive role in middle school English teaching, teachers' teaching wisdom, teaching mode as well as the reform of teaching evaluation.
