Qualia mainly concerns subjective characters of experience. It derives from the directly presented content of experience. Qualia reveals the characters of experience itself, which are irreducible to the object of experience. This approach just stands in line with sense-data theory partially, abandoning its foundationalism promise. As a kind of experiential character, qualia can also be interpreted psychologically, which is intentional as well. Further- more, the knowledge on qualia can be acquired only if the subject has certain experience.
