从小费看中西方价值观差异——兼论对中国旅游业的影响

The Differences of Values between China and Western Reflected in the Tipping Practice and its Impact on China's Tourism

中西方不同的文化传统导致对待小费的态度不同。以中西方小费概念、表现形式及特点的差异为基点,主要从文化视角下中西价值观的三个对应方面:集体主义与个人主义、等级观念与平等意识、义利观综合分析中西方对待小费差异的原因,并从跨文化交际角度探讨了中国旅游业小费制度的出路问题,以期规范小费制度,增强旅游文化软实力。

China and western different cultural traditions lead to different attitudes toward tip, this paper based on the differences of concepts, forms and characteristics between Chinese and western tips, comprehensively analyze the reason why Chinese and western hold different attitudes toward tip mainly from three corresponding aspects of cultural perspective between Chinese and western values ： collectivism and individualism; hierarchical and equality consciousness; idea of morality and profit; and the future of tip system in China＇s tourism industry is discussed from the perspective of cross - cultural communication In order to standardize the tip system and strengthen the soft power of tourism culture.
