摘要
虽然古希腊女诗人萨福其人其诗,不断被中国诗人提及和译介,但真正用现代汉语创作四行萨福体者寥若晨星,仅邵洵美、南星和吴兴华三人而已。文章借用肯尼斯·伯克(Kenneth Burke)关于诗是一种象征行动的诗学观念,考察了汉语萨福体的诗体建构与精神取向。他们三人的萨福体写作,在诗体建构方面,是从尝试走向精熟;在精神取向方面,或塑造现代都市的浪漫个体镜像,或以返乡之旅使古典生发出新义,或将个人和民族国家的体验提升至人类生存的形而上层面,无疑都展现了汉语诗体探索中的另一种可能性。
Though ancient Greek poetess Sappho and her poems have been constantly mentioned and/or translated by China's poets, very few people have written four lines Sapphic in modern Chinese, with Shao Xunmei, Nan Xing and Wu Xinghua as the exceptions. This article is trying to study Chinese Sapphics' construction of poetry style and its spiritual orientation by applying poetic concept of Kenneth Burke with regard to poetic symbolic action. The above- mentioned three Chinese Sapphics has undoubtedly demonstrated another possibility of Chinese poetry style in the process of exploration, from rusty to mastery in construction of poetry style, and portraying a romantic individual im- age of modern city, or refreshing classic idyll in spiritual return, or promoting individual and national experiences to metaphysical aspect of human existence in spiritual orientation.
