摘要
中国是一个统一的多民族国家,正处在社会转型快速期的伟大变革时代。由于社会结构转型滞后于经济结构转轨,社会矛盾日益突出,一些社会问题变得复杂而综合,需要不断探索新理论新方法以有利于促进诸多问题的解决。民族教育社会学是以民族教育问题和社会问题为目标,研究民族教育发展与社会进步,特别是与民族地区社会进步之间的相互关系和相互作用的学科。它随时代的呼唤应运而生,并坚持马克思主义哲学的唯物史观和实践的观点,以马克思主义社会学的维护建设性形态理论为指导,着眼于建立具有中国特色的民族教育社会学理论,使其研究的成果和形成的理论直接服务于建设中国特色社会主义国家的伟大事业。
As a unified multinational country, China is undergoing a period of rapid social transformation. Since the transformation of social structure lags behind that of the economic structure, social contradictions are becoming increasingly severe and a variety of social issues are becoming not only complicated but also comprehensive, which call for new theories and methodologies to address the problems. Sociology of ethnic minority education studies education of ethnic minorities and social issues in general, as well as the interrelation and interaction between the development of ethnic minority education and social progress in general, and social progress in ethnic minority areas in particular. This academic discipline comes into being as a response to the call of our time, and adheres to historical materialism and practical view of Marxist philosophy. It follows the theoretical guidance of constructive formation theory in Marxist sociology, focuses on building theories of sociology of ethnic minority education with Chinese characteristics, and its research finding and theories serve straightly for the construction of the socialist country with Chinese characteristics.
