晚清传统知识分子的“三不朽”之路——以津门名士徐士銮为例

作为晚清传统知识分子代表的徐士銮,深受传统儒学价值观的影响,其一生具有浓厚的人文关怀、强烈的忧患意识和独立的人格操守;在中国近代化变革的过程中,他本欲积极进取、立功名世,却缺乏济世救国之良方,最终不得不选择壮年隐退、立言著述的人生道路。徐氏的人生悲剧,彰显出传统思想文化在近代社会变革中的现实困境。

As a representative of traditional intellectuals, Xu Shiluan was deeply influenced by the traditional Confucianism value view in the late Qing Dynasty, and had a strong humanistic care, strong suffering consciousness and independent personal integrity in his life; In the process of transformation of modern China, he intended to be proactive in official career and built up establishment for national fame, but due to the lack of prescription to save the country, he eventually had to choose the life road of retiring in the prime of life and writing books for the rest of life. Xu＇s life tragedy reveals the real dilemma of the traditional thought and culture in the modern social reform.
