The Ruling Groups' Politics between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty and the Evolution of Wang Anshi's New School

王安石新学在两宋之际的学术嬗变,其实并不是新学学术本身自由、自觉的传承。在当时的历史环境中,统治集团的政治选择,使新学非学术层面传承的影响加深,致使新学完全成为社会诸多阶层利益诉求追逐的工具,渐趋式微,并最终退出历史舞台。现实的问题与困惑,正是历史镜像的投射。尽管时代在变,但传统社会中学术与现实政治的纠葛,依然在今天延续。中国传统社会丰厚的历史经验告诉我们,学术与政治的关系,其实就是双刃剑,独立、平等、和谐则是两利与进步,依附、偏倚、压榨及利用则会两害与退步。

Between Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty,the dissemination of Wang Anshi＇New School actually did not result from its free and conscious demand. Under the particular social circumstance of that period,non- academic development of Wang Anshi＇New School was of greater influence as a result of the political choice of the ruling group. Therefore Wang Anshi＇New School became an instrument for the society to pursue benefits and faded away finally. The problem and confusion of the present society are the reflection of history. Although time changes,the dispute between academy and politics happened in the traditional society remains today. Chinese history shows us that the relationship between academy and politics is like a double- edged sword,that is,independence,equality and harmony will benefit each other,while dependence,preference and oppression will harm each other.
