The Chapter Chuju of Tsinghua Bamboo Strip Manuscripts detailed records that the generations of ancestors of Chu moved the capital to another place from the late Shang Dynasty to the early Warring States Period. Only in the age of Xiong Yi recorded divination and it suggests the author of Chuju said praise to Xiongyi who established the Chu. Xiongyi divined before the moving to indicate that the moving was under divine guid- ance. As a result, his people would be more convinced. Yizhun was on the bank of the Yi River and its name may relate with Zhun Gua.
