The classification and relationship of Prunus is very hot in study of molecular systems in recent years,this paper reviewed the history of tradional taxonomy,the results of molecular systematic,a variety of other taxonomic methods and origins of Prunus,to lay a theoretical foundation for future study on Prunus classification.
