摘要
采用低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)/乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯(EVA)为聚合物基体,添加氢氧化铝(ATH)、有机改性磷酸锆(OZrP)为阻燃剂,探讨了这类复合材料的阻燃效果。结果表明,ATH与OZrP复配使用能有效抑制聚合物材料燃烧时的融滴并产生协同阻燃效应。锥形量热实验(CCT)和微燃烧量热(MCC)测试表明,LDPE/EVA/ATH/OZrP复合材料的最大热释放速率峰值比LDPE/EVA和LDPE/EVA/ATH阻燃体系有明显降低。极限氧指数(LOI)和垂直燃烧试验也表明,添加5%(质量分数)OZrP可使复合材料氧指数达到32,通过UL94V-0测试。
Aluminum hydroxide (ATH) and organophilic a-zirconium phosphate (OZrP) were used to improve the flame retardancy of low density polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate (LDPE/EVA) hybrid. The flanmaability characterization of hybrid was investigated by microscale combustion calorimeter (MCC), cone calorimeter test (CCT), limiting oxygen index (LOI) and vertical burning (UL-94) tests. The analyses show that LDPE/EVA/ ATH/OZrP composites with 5wt% OZrP have apparently reduced the heat release rates and could achieve UL 94 V0 rating. Based on these findings, the MCC and CCT data shown synergistic effects between ATH and OZrP in the LDPE/EVA/ATH/OZrP composites.
