The objective of ideological and political education of college students is the stu- dents＇ thinking and behavior, in the relevant theory, Maslow＇s hierarchy of needs theory happens to explain the motivation and the root causes of human thinking and behavior. This paper makes Maslow＇s hierarchy of needs theory as the basic theoretical guidance, combines with the needs of college stu- dents, has important theoretical and practical significance to improve the ideological and politi- cal education.
