电大向开放大学转型过程中的校训探究——借鉴香港公开大学的成功经验

The Study of School Motto for Television University in the Process of Transforming into an Open University

校训是大学精神和办学理念的集中体现,也是大学校园文化建设的重要内容,一则好的校训有着"内聚人心,外树形象"的功能。在电大向开放大学转型过程中,重视校训价值,重塑开放大学精神,尤为重要。借鉴香港公开大学校训实践的成功经验,结合当前电大转型的现状,就校训的提炼与践行进行了尝试性探讨,旨在为开放大学建构校训提供参考。

A School motto is the concentrated reflection of the spirit and educational philosophy of a university. Also it’s an important component of cultural construction in a university. A good school motto can link the hearts inward and shape the images outward. In the transformation to an Open University, it’s crucial for TV University to take the value of school motto seriously and reshape the spirit of the Open University. This paper draws on the successful experience of the practice of school mottos of the Open University of Hong Kong, combines with the current situation of TV University’s transformation into Open University and tries to probe into ways for extracting and practicing school mottos, so as to offer suggestions for motto designing for Open University.
