Religion and superstition are indispensable in each culture and society, traditional society formed and accumulated a lot of religious beliefs and customs. Along with social and economic development, custom folk beliefs had become complex and diverse, and social culture had been enriched. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, Foshan social culture was closely related to gods-reward opera, and Foshan strong religious beliefs led to gods-reward opera performances.
