摘要
在制备传能光纤时,需要把掺氟石英玻璃预制棒放在1,900~2,200,℃加热炉中加热熔化。为保障预制棒受热均匀,同时保护加热炉内器件不被氧化,需鼓入惰性气体氩气。有时,由于上下炉口敞开较大或氩气流波动,石英预制棒表面会出现"析晶"现象,影响传能光纤的各项参数。对析晶现象的产生原因进行了分析,可为后续拉丝工艺改进提供参考。
To prepare transmitting energy fibers, fluorine-doped silica glass fiber preform needs to melt in a 1 900 ~ 2 200 ℃ furnace, and argon, an inert gas, needs to be drummed into the furnace to ensure an even heating of the preform and prevent the device from oxidation. Sometimes, due to a large opening of upper or lower furnace mouth or the turbu- lence of argon gas, a layer of white substance will form on the surface of the quartz prefabricated rod. The so-called Crystal- lization Phenomenon will affect parameters of the optic fiber. This paper analyzes causes of the phenomenon to provide some reference to the improvement of the following wire drawing process.
