Formation and Development of the Errentai in Inner Mongolia

二人台,产生于内蒙古西部,流行于内蒙古西部、晋北、陕北和冀北等地,约形成于光绪初年,在艺术形式上借鉴了"社火"、蒙汉民歌等,是由蒙汉人民在长期的文化交融中共同培植而成的一种地方戏曲,是民族团结的见证。

Produced in Western Inner Mongolia, Errentai is popular in Western Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, Northern Shaanxi and northern Hebei etc. The formation of Errentai was in the early years of Guangxu, Qing Dynasty, in the art form from Shehuo and Mongolian folk songs, which is composed of Mongolian and Chinese Han people in long-term cultures integration as a local opera, which is the witness of national solidarity.
