《金瓶梅词话》与《喻世明言》中雷同情节简析

《金瓶梅词话》与《喻世明言》都是明代白话小说中的精品,目前一般认为前者的成书年代稍早于后者。《金瓶梅词话》卷尾部分中陈经济与韩爱姐交往的情节,与《喻世明言》第三卷中吴山与韩金奴的故事高度雷同,大段文字几近如出一辙,甚至一些细节都十分相似。造成这一现象的原因,如果不是冯梦龙在编辑《喻世明言》时抄袭了《金瓶梅词话》,那么最大的可能就是《金瓶梅词话》与《喻世明言》都是世代累积型的集体创作的结果。这一点,在两书中的共同人物"八老"身上能得到一定的印证。

Both The Plum in the Golden Vase and Stories to Enlighten Men are best vernacular novels in the Ming Dynasty. Now, it is generally believed that the writing time of the former precedes the latter. The plot about Chen Jingji and Han Aijie in the end of The Plum in the Golden Vase is more or less the same as the plot about Wu Shan and Han Jinnu in Stories to Enlighten Men. There are long parts of both texts which are highly similar in the two stories. And even some details resemble each other. Were it not for the fact that Feng Menglong plagiarized The Plum in the Golden Vase when editing Stories to Enlighten Men, it might be a plausible hypothesis that both are collective creative work passed down from one generation to another. This view might be supported by the same character called Balao in the two books.
