This is an article composed for the First Forum of Hubei Museum of Art. On account of the absence of regular displays in the vast majority of art museums in China, the author, from the viewpoint of following international conventions and the key functions of art museums, emphasizes the importance of regular displays and the significance of academic study on art collections and organization of regular displays.
