民国时期的上海,在兴起各式各样的新潮美术运动的同时,古代艺术的收藏同样兴盛。笔者研究了可能是第一位中国现代主义艺术购藏者的汪振寰及其家族,参考了特殊时代和社会的收藏状况,发现汪氏对倪贻德作品的购买,可能只是一种战争特殊时局下的社交策略。

In the period of the Republic of China, various art movements sprung up in Shanghai, and at the same time, the collection of ancient Chinese art thrived alike. Considering the unique situation at that time, the author makes a survey on Wang Zhenhuan, who was possibly the first purchaser and collector of Chinese modernist art, and his family. His study reveals that Wang＇s purchase of the paintings of Ni Yide was perhaps just a social strategy during a time of war
