"环境陶艺"是近几十年出现的一种新艺术形式,其运用在欧美已成流行趋势,中国的起步则比较晚,还处于探索阶段。建水中医院大型紫陶浮雕墙的创作给人们的启示就在于,在进行环境陶艺创作时,把握传统文化特色,借鉴典型民族文化符号,同时体悟民族的文化内涵,并结合当代陶艺观念,创作出能体现中华民族品格与文化精神的环境陶艺,才是中国环境陶艺的发展之路。

As a newly emerging art form in recent decades, Environment Ceramic Art is an outcome of the combination of ceramic art and environmental art. It is a new branch of the former as well as a fresh development of the latter. Recently, accompanied by the evolution of urban construction, environmental art has been springing up. A large-scale relievo is successfully mounted in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jianshui, which supplies a gap in the application of Jianshui Purple Pottery in the field of Environment Ceramic Art. Furthermore, this success will provide reference for future design and manufacture of Jianshui Purple Pottery in the field of Environment Ceramic Art, which is significant for the diversified development of Jianshui Purple Pottery industry.
