Curation as an Action Beyond Building:The 14th Venice International Architecture Biennale

展览是影响一座城市思想、文化、社会趣味的中介和平台,策展人往往通过跨领域的交流与合作实现展览的策划和与参观者的互动。因此,策展人这一身份并不局限于某一领域,在这个交流设计的时代,建筑师的策展实践也不失为一项有意义的探索。以2014年第14届威尼斯建筑双年展为例,从交流设计的角度解读策展过程中的"跨"与"界",对新时期的建筑策展作相关的探索与展望。

Exhibition is a medium and platform that influences thought,culture and social interests of a city.Curators often interact with visitors through interdisciplinary communications and cooperation.Thus,the identity of curator is not limited to a particular area.During this ＂communication design＂ era,the curator practice of architects can be a meaningful exploration.With the case of the 14 th Venice Architecture Biennale,this article interprets the curatorial process of crossover from the perspective of ＂communication design＂,so as to explore and look into the future of the construction-related curation in the new era.
