Objective To provide the basis for better control and management of occupational hazards at workplace by improved Singaporean chemical semi-quantitative risk assessment method. Methods The risk levels were assessed according to the comprehensive considered hazard rating and exposure levels. Results The improved Singaporean chemical semi-quantitative risk assessment method was more suitable for the the actual situation. Conclusion The improved Singaporean chemical semi-quantitative risk assessment method had better value besides of the further explored.
