2013年夏季普里兹湾变性绕极深层水涌升陆架特征分析

An analysis on the upwelling of modified circumpolar deep water over the shelf region of Prydz Bay in the summer of 2013

基于中国南极科学考察水文调查资料,本文发现了变性绕极深层水（MCDW）涌升普里兹湾陆架的现象,并给出了其分布特征及运动过程。中国第29次南极科学考察获得的CTD要素分布中,MCDW涌升陆架过程清晰可见。在详细给出普里兹湾及邻近海域MCDW的物理特性及其空间分布的基础上,综合前人研究成果,分析了MCDW涌升陆架过程中的运动特征。指出在研究海域内,MCDW主要通过73.00°E断面涌升至陆架;在涌升过程中,受湾口东向流影响涌升路径向东南偏移,至75.00°E附近汇入湾内的气旋式环流,随南向流进入和影响湾内;在73.00°E断面上,涌升的MCDW呈舌状分布,并向南逐渐抬升,-1.00℃等温线最南到达67.10°S附近,向上扩展最高到270m左右;在67.25°S的纬向湾口断面上,MCDW主要在73.50°～75.00°E之间、150～350m的范围内进入陆架,不存在明显的东西向过渡过程。

Based on the hydrological data obtained in CHINARE cruises,the Upwelling of Modified Circumpolar Deep Water（MCDW）over the shelf region of Prydz Bay is found.Its distribution characteristic and movement are analyzed.The distribution of CTD elements obtained in the 29 th CHINARE cruise captured the Upwelling of MCDW over the shelf region of Prydz Bay clearly.Based on the description of the physical characteristics and distribution of MCDW in the Prydz Bay region,the Upwelling of MCDW over the Shelf Region of Prydz Bay is analysed with previous research results.The intrusion of MCDW into the bay is mainly by the way of 73.00°E.In the upwelling process,MCDW moves to southeast and comes into the bay near 75.00°E joining in the cyclonic circulation.MCDW is clearly depicted in the section of 73.00°E as a southward water tongue.The water warmer than-1.00℃is up to 270 mand moves to the 67.10°S.The section crosses Prydz Bay zonally near 67.25°S shows that MCDW appears at 150～350mbetween 73.50°～75.00°E.It is suggested that MCDW is supplied to Prydz Bay mainly by way of 73.50°～75.00°E near the section of 67.25°S.
