Research on the Youth Development in Guangzhou in the New Normal of Economic Growth in China

广州青年正处于机遇和挑战并存的经济发展新常态的宏观背景之下。他们在机遇与压力中不断成长,呈现出独特的时代发展特征:拥有积极向上的价值观;具有较高的学历期望,教育与学习的内驱力较强;在就业方面能充分发挥主观能动性,创业热情不断高涨;在婚恋关系中自我保护意识增强;消费观念合理,闲暇娱乐方式健康化、多样化;政治参与意识明确、行为增多;上网呈现低龄化、移动化、娱乐化的趋势;面临较大的社会生存压力,身心健康发展受到一定程度影响;未成年人偏差行为整体偏轻,但发生率呈现上升趋势。从整体上看,广州促进青年发展的政策体系日渐完善,但青年发展环境有待进一步优化,建议全面制定青年政策,从制度上保证青年发展的有关问题得到政府的关注和解决,从而更好地推动青年工作。

The Guangzhou youth are facing the macro situation of new normal of economic development, in which both opportunities and challenges coexist. Keeping on their growth in opportunities and pressures, they present the following unique development characteristics of the times--- positive values, higher expectation of education background, stronger wish in education and learning, sufficient subjective initiative in employment, growing enthusiasm for setting up businesses, increasing awareness of self-protection in love and marriage, reasonable consumption concept, positive and diversified ways of leisure entertainment, definite awareness and more activities of participation in politics, the trend of younger age group, mobility and amusement in surfing the internet, higher social pressure of existence, certain degree of influence on the development of physical and psychological health, less harm but higher frequency for the overall deviation behaviors of juveniles. The policy system of promoting the development of Guangzhou youth, as a whole, is perfecting gradually, but the environment of youth development needs to be further optimized, so it is suggested that the youth policy should be made comprehensively to guarantee the relevant problems of youth development to be noticed and solved systematically by the government, so as to better develop the youth work.
