Vision and Challenges for the Development of Shanghai in 2050

面向2050年,上海不应放弃"工商之都"的传统优势,政府要摆正位置,把营造有利于创新创业者生存发展的环境作为主要任务,建立新的衡量创新指标体系;为实现教育作为发展的战略驱动力目标,上海应加大对高等院校的跨学科研究基础建设投入,推动高中和大学教育的课程开放、包容和多元化,推动教育的国际化。在宜居城市建设上,以"小城市-大城区-大空间"的空间模式,按照城市分工的协作要求,打造长三角世界级城市群和建设世界级城市。

For 2050,Shanghai should not give up the traditional advantages of industry and commerce,the government should put themselves in a correct position,to create a favorable environment for the survival and development of innovative entrepreneurs,just as the main task,and establish a new index system for measuring innovation;in order to realize the target that put education as the driving force of development,Shanghai should increase the investment in the construction of interdisciplinary research,promote open,inclusive and diversified curriculum in high school and college education,promote the internationalization of education.In the construction of livable city,with the space pattern of ' small city-big city and big space',in accordance with the requirements of the urban division of labor,to build the Yangtze River Delta world-class city group and to construct the world class cities.
