In 1995, the Ministry of Machinery Indus-try (MMI) of PRC proclaimed 12 mandatory standards for new auto products with only one concerning auto lighting. From Jan. 1st of 1997, 4 mandatory standards will touch the topic, which evidently reveal that much atten-tion is being paid to auto lamp products. 1. Current Auto Lamp Standard
