◎China’s motorcycle output for 1999 will be con-trolled at a level between 7～7.5 million units in order to curb rising stockpiles according to China Goods and Materials News. While production cuts effectively bal-anced supply and demand during 1998, stockpiles re- main high and fierce market competition will continue.
