Compared with last month, the production and sales of auto rose by 10%. Except the mini truck and mini bus, the other types of auto all increased. Especially, the production of cars stood the top position in Jan.～Aug. Data from the CAAM shows that in Aug. 179,223 automobiles were produced, 11.87% up over the last month. According to the above data, the accumulated production (of Jan. to Aug., the same below) was 1,522,185 units. A good progress was achieved in the accumulated production of cars, trucks, and buses, with 13.96%, 7.29%, and 20.41% up over the same period of last year respectively.
