A Study on Traffic Situation of China's Historic and Cultural Cities

如何协调好历史文化名城中旧城历史文化环境保护与现代机动交通发展的关系,一直是城市规划工作者和历史文化保护工作者十分关心的问题。分析了历史名城的道路格局与交通模式的关系,以及旧城交通问题存在的原因,从城市总体布局和旧城内外交通关系等方面,提出协调机动交通发展与历史文化环境保护的规划思路和规划对策,并介绍了一些城市旧城的规划思考和规划建设的实践经验。

Haw to coordinate historic old town＇s protection and the development of modern auto traffic, is a very important question for urban planners and workers of historic cities protection. This article analysis the relation of historic town＇s the road pattern with the mode of traffic, and the cause of traffic problem. Thinking in term of the cities general layout and the relation of inner-out old town traffic, we propos the planning thinking lane and counter plan, and to introduce some examples.
