Research progress on distribution and biological activities of iridal-type triterpenoids

摘要 鸢尾醛型三萜是角鲨烯代谢的一类特殊的三萜类化合物,结构类型主要有单环、双环、螺环等,主要存在于鸢尾科植物中,具有广泛的生物学活性。综述了鸢尾醛型三萜在植物界的分布情况及其多样化生物活性的研究进展,为鸢尾醛型三萜的开发和利用提供一定的科学依据和理论基础。 Iridal-type triterpenoids are a kind of special compounds which come from the metabolism of squalene. Their chemical structures mainly can be divided into mono-, bi-, and spirocyclic structures. The iridal-type triterpenoids which have various and vital biological activities are mainly found in Iridaceae plants. The research progress on distribution in plants and diversified biological activities of iridal-type triterpenoids are reviewed in this paper, which provide some scientific basis for the development and utilization of iridal-type triterpenoids.
