浅谈高校激光实验室的安全和防护

A Brief Discussion on Safety and Protection of Laser Laboratory in Colleges

激光作为20世纪60年代的新光源,具有单色性好、相干性好和亮度高等众多优良的特性,已经广泛应用于工业、医疗、科学研究、军用武器和通信等各个领域。但激光也具有一些危害,所以在使用激光设备时需要采取一定的安全和防护工作。本文从我国高校激光实验室的安全出发,结合我校激光实验室的现状,分析了激光实验室可能存在的安全隐患,从安全意识的培养、良好实验习惯的养成和基础实验设施的完善三个方面,探索建立一个安全激光实验的方法途径。

As a new type of light source in the 1960 s, laser has been widely used in industry, medical science, scientific research, military weapons, communications and other fields due to its excellent characteristics of monochromaticity, coherence, and high brightness. But the laser also has its harmfulness, therefore some safety and countermeasures should be taken when we use laser equipment. Considering the safety in laser laboratory in colleges, this paper takes the present situations of the laser laboratory in USST as an example, analyzes the potential problems in laser laboratory, and explores the methods of safe laser experiment from the cultivation of safety consciousness, good experimental habits and the improvement of basic experimental facilities.
