＂The Neighbors＂ is a crime film which was directed by South Korean director Kim Hyu in 2012. This film won not only high praise and reputation since its release, but also the box office success. Under the background of the commercialization of current film and the pursuit of magnificent scenes for audio- visual enjoyment, such works as ＂The Neighbors＂ which focuses on setting suspense and provoking thoughts are rare. From the aspects of good or evil human nature and redemption, this thesis discusses the uniqueness of narrative structure and suspense setting, and the functions of scene scheduling.
